Nigerian rapper and activist Ruggedman recently appeared on TVC’s Your View, where he shared insights into his personal life. The 51-year-old revealed that he made a vow to himself when he was younger to never have a child out of wedlock, and he has stuck to that promise.

When asked about his relationship status and whether he has any children, Ruggedman explained that he has always believed in doing things the right way. He stated, “When I was younger, I vowed not to have a child out of wedlock. I’m still wondering if it was the right decision, but I’ve stuck to it.”

Ruggedman emphasized that marriage and fatherhood require a deep commitment to the right person. He acknowledged that he has met some great women over the years, but things didn’t work out. He even shared a story about a woman he would have married, but she ended up with a wealthier man due to her mother’s influence.

When asked if he’s a difficult person to live with, Ruggedman denied it, saying he’s simply not willing to make decisions that aren’t good for him. He believes that life is hard when people knowingly make wrong choices, and he’s committed to staying true to himself.

Ruggedman also pushed back against the idea that being responsible automatically makes someone ready for marriage. He pointed out that many irresponsible people are married, and it’s not about being responsible, but about finding the right person to share your life with.
